  EMANCIPATE THE LANDSCAPE
Picture

Lethbridge, Alberta

(offer )

A wallow is a site of deep rooting,
Behaviour to escape flies and insects.

A rutt,
an assembling,
a social response with land.

Gathering its familiar migration.

It is a mark-making of evolutionary partnership
of two skins,
of the one and the other

the soils; their backs

and those things that follow,
the memory never had,
and the dreams that they return.

--

The paths.
and their mass, the directions,
in seven.

--

On the hill above a coal seam.
At high refuge
in alternative,
in practicality.
